Freddy Moran is an elder at CCMI. He currently serves as a volunteer Chaplain for Monmouth and Independence police departments and Polk 1 Fire department. He has been doing Chaplaincy work since 2012. His passion is to walk intentionally alongside men creating deep relationships and Godly brotherhood, as well as supporting our local first responders spiritually, mentally and emotionally. One of his callings is to uphold grieving people with the comfort of God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-5
Shelley serves CCMI as the bookkeeper and in the Women’s Ministry. She homeschools her children, and enjoys discipleship relationships with women of all ages. She feels called to constantly stir up that little bit of faith in a person’s heart to grow bigger and stronger. 2 Peter 1:12-13
Freddy and Shelley were married in 2005 and have been blessed with 5 children. They have had the privilege to enjoy the richness of attending house churches for many years. This led the way for them to live in community with many of their neighbors that attended their house church as well. Their calling as a family is to connect with and impact anyone around them—opening their home for ministry and family-like connections. In 2023 God led them to CCMI and it has been a blessing in so many ways!
